SOCRATCES Webinar on Solar Ca-Looping Integration for Thermo-Chemical Energy Storage | 10th of June

Chemical Process & Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) of CERTH, invite you to the SOCRATCES Webinar on Solar Ca-Looping Integration for Thermo-Chemical Energy Storage that will take place on the 10th June 2021.

SOCRATCES Horizon 2020 project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of the CSP-CaL integration by erecting a pilot-scale plant that uses cheap, abundant, and non-toxic materials and mature technologies used in the industry. The global objective is to develop a prototype that will reduce the core risks of scaling up the technology and solve challenges and further understanding and optimize the operating efficiencies that could be obtained, with the longer-term goal of enabling highly competitive and sustainable CSP plants.

During SOCRATCES webinar, the consortium will explain the work developed in materials, technology, and construction and share the actual status of the prototype.
